'Intermediate & Intermediate-Experienced' Summer Classes
Three theme classes for dancers with at least 6 months of Lindy Hop experience:
In this class we will continue to build on your experience and add a bunch of fun-filled variations to your swing dance repertoire. We will also give a taste of Shag - a social swing-dance based on 6-counts, which can be mixed in and used when music is fast.
The summer class session consists of stand-alone 90 minute Thursday classes. It is theme classes with a new set of teachers each week, focussing on fun-filled material for dancers with at least 3 rounds of prior Lindy Hop of experience.
Get ready for fun and rhythms coupled with technique that will make you more comfortable while dancing.
June 26th - Social, Social, Social (Annette & Jon)
- This class is all about dancing thogether and changing parter during the dance like in folk dance but lindy style!
- We will work on different ways for both the lead and the follow to rotate to the next partner as an integral part of the dance.

Minimum level requirement
This class is the continuation class for people who have been through at least 1 round of Hepcats Beginners' level and 2 rounds of Hepcats Beginners-Intermediate level, or have 15-20 weeks of experience at other swing dance communities.
We expect you to be familiar with basic moves like swing out, circle, Charleston and six-count moves.
Prior dancing at Hepcats is not a requirement. We welcome all dancers as long as you meet the requirements outlined above.

Write your partners email address in the "with a partner" box when signing up. Please note that your partner must also register separately for the same class and note your email on their order. Note that we change partners often during class. See FAQ for more information about this.

buy a membership.
Memberships are sold for either the spring or autumn season. If you have not purchased a membership for the current season please add one from the Membership and other items sections when booking your course.
