Spring is in full swing and at Hepcats Copenhagen, we start next round of classes on Thursday, Apr. 24th, offering LindyHop and SoloJazz, we have no less than two LIVE events coming up and we have a weekend workshop with Sinclair from Singapore!

Apr. 29th: Hepcats – Jazzværk LIVE – 20.00-24.00 

On April 29th, Hepcats and Metronomen invites you to a swngin’ LIVE-BAND event with Jazzværk – It’s on a Tuesday, at Metronomen (Frederiksberg) and we’ve been promised a dance-floor!

May 17-18th: Int. Workshop – Sinclair Ang (SIN) 

Sinclair Ang – professional musician, choreographer and founder of the JAZZ*INC swing-dance society in Singapore is visiting Copenhagen teaching a weekend workshop with two levels (Intermediate & Experienced) focussing on 1930’s style Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz.

May 17th: Hepcats LIVE – Tuxen Lockjaw (3 sets)

In connection with the visit from Sinclair from Singapore, we throw a Spring party, and you are invited. The band is Tuxen Lockjaw, who will play no less than 3 sets of music, with DJ music before they go live, as well as inbetween sets. Come join the fun!

  • Date:            17th of May (after the workshop)
  • Time:            8 PM –  DJ & 3 (!!)  sets of LiVE music. Ends late…

Hepcats – Sunday Swing

Sunday Swing is THE BEST on a lazy Sunday!. Keep an eye on the Hepcat facebook groups and join us at Kulturhuset Indre By from 3 – 6 pm on Sundays.

Hepcats – Free intro to Swing Dancing on May 4th 

We’re regularily hosting a free intro to “this-cool-thing-called-swing” regularly @ Kulturhuset Indre By and at Studenterhuset – next free class on May 4th

At Tuesday Swing, Hepcats hosts  second Tuesday in the month – next one on May 8th
