Wanna learn how to dance to live music, like they did in the 1930’s ?

Come join us for our next round of Lindy Hop classes at Hepcats Copenhagen, starting on March 6th, 2025 at Vesterbro in Copenhagen.

LindyHop & Charleston are social partner swing-dances. Like in Salsa and Tango, and our beginners classes are open for everyone – no prior dance experience is needed. . You can up alone or with friends – we change partner during class and you will get to meet new people and learn dancing together with them.

The dance originates from the dance floors of Harlem, New York, in the 1920’s and 1930’s where they were danced to live music from Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman and other great swing jazz bands of the Swing Era.

The Lindy Hop incorporates improvisational elements known from Solo-Jazz, Charleton, and earlier dances from the 1910’s.
