Join us for FOUR cool theme classes:

14.4 – LindyHop Pop Turns (Couple dancing, taught by Zhan & Jon)

Pop turns are cool LindyHop moves inspired by more modern dance moves. They are awesome!
In this class Zhan and Jon will teach a Lindy Hop Pop Turn Variation and introduce Grapevine – Swing Dance Moves  The inspiration for Popturn variation and Grapevine is from other dance styls to Lindy swing dance. The Grapevine figure is already a challenging move.   We transfer Balboas dynamic into pop turn variations. If you want to add some spice to your Pop Turn, this is a great opportunity for you!   Hope to see you all

21.4 – Shim Sham & Shim Sham variations (solo jazz routime, taught by Benedikte & Lars)

IN DANISH: Shim sham is a popular solo jazz routine that is popular among Lindy hoppers all over the world. If you have never learned the Shim sham, need a brush up or would like to work on details, this is the class for you. We will also teach some variations that you can use to spice up the routine.
Level: All dancers who has completed at least one round of classes at any swing dance community worldwide.

28.4 – 1001 Swingouts – 2 hours of pure swing-out fun! (Couple dancing, taught by Hanna & Sune)

The Swingout could easily be the most difficult move that you’ll ever learn in a Lindy Hop class. This Theme Class focuses on understanding and exeuting different types of swingouts – from the original break-away to todays swingout.

Understanding and mastering differnet swingout styles will speed up learning from differnet teachers at international workshops and is crusial to make new variations work optimal.

During this theme class you’ll get to try:
  • The BreakAway   (1920’s LindyHop)
  • The Savoy Style Swingout  (1930’s and 40’s LindyHop)
  • The Swingout with a Twist  (1930’s and 40’s LindyHop)
  • The US EastCoast Swingout  (1990’s LindyHop)
We’ll also teach when to use the different swingouts and try variations suitable for each of the different styles.

26.5 – LindyHop Basics Brushup (Couple dancing, taught by Hannah Paludan & Partner)

Get your basic Lindy polished and perform even better on the social dance floor. This is a class for dancers with a bit of experience, perhaps feeling a bit rusty.
