For the top dancers in Hepcats, or experienced lindy hoppers from elsewhere. Expectation is 1+ year of active swing dancing and a solid knowledge of the LindyHop 8-count, the Charleston (side-by-side and tandem) as well as knowledge of the basic solo jazz steps as taught during warmups and jazz routines.

'Lindy Hop: Intermediate-Experienced' This class is the continuation class for the Hepcats Intermediate class. In this class we will build on your what you learned during your Intermediate class, adding new fun variations while continuing to build confidence, musicality and flow in your basic steps and moves. New steps and combinations are on this level hopefully more a challenge than a threat, and on this level you will begin to adapt your dance to the music and will get quite a respectful catalogue of moves that you can execute successfully on the dance floor. You will learn new and more advanced variations and the tempo will be (even) higher. We look forward to dancing with you!
Minimum level requirement
This class is the continuation class for people who have been through at least 1-2 rounds of Hepcats Intermediateor have ≈ 25 weeks of experience at other swing dance communities. We expect you to be familiar with basic moves like swing out, circle, Charleston and six-count moves. Prior dancing at Hepcats is not a requirement. We welcome all dancers as long as you meet the requirements outlined above.

'Beginners-Intermediate' This class is the continuation class for the Hepcats Beginner class. In this class we will continue to build on your basics and add a bunch of fun-filled variations to your swing dance repertoire. We will help expand your Lindy Hop vocabulary by working on charleston, 6-count styling, different swing out variations, explore the world of technique and teaching you some classic and playful moves. Moves known and used by Lindy hoppers everywhere and with deep roots in the history of Swing dance. Join us to learn the moves for the first time or sign up if you want to brush them up to get them present in your social dancing. Get ready for fun and rhythms coupled with technique that will make you more comfortable while dancing. We look forward to dancing with you!

Hepcats Copenhagen is excited to invite you to participate in 1, 2 or 3 two-hour Sunday classes, taking place just before Sunday Swing kicks off. Classes are taught by some of the most experienced dancers in Copenhagen, and targets everyone with a solid basic in place - it’s a great opportunity to try different teachers and expand your dance vocabulary.

Classes take place just before Sunday Swing- Where: Kulturhuset Indre By, Salen
- When: Above Sundays, from 1-3 pm
- Who: All swing dancers in CPH area, with 3 rounds, corresponding to approx 3+ months of active dancing experience at any CPH dance community. More on requirements below
- Price: You can sign up for all 3 classes at DKK 300, or choose individual classes at DKK/each 125.
- Membership: If you don't have one, you'll also need a Membership for Autumn 2024. It’s 60 DKK only.

The Autumn Sessions are taught by some of the most experienced teachers in Copenhagen. Two of these sessions are taught by teachers with more than 20 years of dancing experience, dating back from the early days of Hepcats Copenhagen.15.9 - Mamas Stew (Lars & Benedikte)
In this class we'll be working on the Solo Jazz routine "Mama's Stew", made famous by Mama Lou Parks and her dancers. It's relatively short, fun, fast and energetic and with roots straight back to Harlem and the original Lindy Hoppers. Requirements: You've tried the Shim Sham and know (Lindy) Charleston. We expect you to have done a couple of rounds of classes at Hepcats, SwingShoes, Happy Feet or similar (experience corresponding to 1 season of dancing / 15+ weekly classes)22.9 - Charleston Fun
In this class we'll be working on fast'n'fun Charleston variations and trying to tie them together in a small routine. Some variations will be inspired by variations seen performed at global competitions.Requirements: You know your basic Charleston - we'll take care of the rest. The content of this class has not yet been finalised, but it will be partner dancing with a focus on Lindy Hop.
